1	Registrar	-	50 – 62	Eligibility: The candidate shall be an eminent Health Care Professional. Both in-service and retired candidates shall be eligible to apply, subject to the provision of no objection certificate from the relevant authority in case of in-service candidates. Academic Qualifications: Terminal qualifications in their respective fields equivalent to Masters / MPhil / PhD. (An additional qualification in management or managerial experience will be preferred). Experience: 15 – 20 years wide ranging experience in academics, administration and management. Term of Office: Renewable period of three years.	01
2	Treasurer	-	50 – 62	Eligibility: The candidate shall be an eminent professional in the field of financial management, accounting and auditing. (Preferably an incumbent of the Pakistan Audit & Account Service (PAAS) having served for at least five years in any government organization in BPS-20 or equivalent position). Both in-service and retired candidates shall be eligible to apply, subject to the provision of no objection certificate from the relevant authority in case of in-service candidates. Academic Qualifications: Masters in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration etc. or any incumbent in the Pakistan Audit & Account Service (PAAS) cadre with at least masters or equivalent qualifications to his credit. Experience: 15 – 20 years wide ranging experience in financial management, accounting and auditing, and administration. Term of Office: Three years and may be renewed from time to time.	01
3	*Deputy Director (Research)	18	30 - 40	First Class (B Grade) Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatics, genetics or other health research related fields, from HEC recognised institution with 5 years experience in research or research related activities. (Preference will be given to medical professionals)	01
4	*Assistant Director (Research)	17	25 – 35	First Class (B Grade) Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatics, genetics or other health research related fields, from HEC recognised institution. (Preference will be given to medical professionals)	01

• Application along with recent passport size photograph, educational testimonials, experience certificates and copy of computerized National Identity Card along with a bank receipt of Rs: 500/-, non-refundable, (Account No. 1450-8, National Bank of Pakistan, Hayatabad Township Br: (1759), Peshawar) in favour of Khyber Medical University, should reach the office of undersigned on or before 24-02-2010.
• In service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit NOC from their concerned Departments / Institutions along with the application.
• Age relaxation, for Serial No. 3 & 4, of 10 years shall be admissible for the employees of Govt:, Semi Govt: or autonomous bodies on the basis of actual service rendered in the respective bodies.
• Selection shall be made in the manner prescribed by the University.  Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible.
• Separate application for each post is to be submitted.
• Incomplete application or application received after due date, shall not be acceptable.
• *Candidates who have already applied for the posts at serial No. 3 & 4, need not to re-apply.
