QUALIFICATIONS:
PROFESSOR PUBLIC HEALTH (BPS-21 / TTS): MBBS / BDS with Ph.D. in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University / Institution with 15 years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized university or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. Applicant must have 12 publications (with at least 3 publications in last 5 years) in HEC / PM&DC recognized journals. Preference will be given to MBBS as basic qualification.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (BPS-19 / TTS): MBBS / BDS with Ph.D. in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University / Institution with 10 years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized university or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. Applicant must have 8 publications (with at least 2 publications in last 5 years) in HEC / PM&DC recognized journals. OR
MBBS / BDS with 1st Class Master’s Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University / institution. 4 years teaching / research experience in recognized university or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or international organization.
LECTURERS (BPS-18):

1. EPIDEMIOLOGY & BIOSTATISTICS: MBBS / BDS with 1st Class (B Grade) Master’s Degree in Epidemiology & Biostatistics, with no 3rd division in the academic career from a HEC recognized University / Institution.

Preference will be given to person with experience in the relevant field.

1. FAMILY MEDICINE: MBBS / BDS with 1st Class (B Grade) Masters Degree in Public Health / DCPS (Family Medicine), with no 3rd division in the academic career, from a HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd Division in the academic career.

CURRICULA COORDINATOR (BPS-17): 1st Class Mater Degree / MBBS or equivalent degree in health professions. OR
2nd Class Mater Degree / MBBS or equivalent degree in health professions with five years experience in the relevant field in government or semi government autonomous bodies.
Age: 25 – 35 years.
DRIVERS: Middle in at least 2nd division with a valid HTV / LTV license and 5 years experience of driving heavy transport. Age: 25 – 35 years.
Note: For Class-IV preference will be given to locals.

1. Application along with recent passport size photograph, educational testimonials, experience certificates and copy of computerized National Identity Card with a bank receipt of Rs: 500/- (nonrefundable) Application Processing Fee (Account No. 1450-8, National Bank of Pakistan, Hayatabad Township Br: (1759) Peshawar) in favour of Khyber Medical University, should reach the office of undersigned on or before 15-09-2009.Application can be downloaded from HERE
2. Class-IV are exempted from application processing fee.
3. In service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit NOC from their concerned Department / Institutions along with the application.
4. Three set of publications along with a bank receipt (same bank and account No. as mentioned above) of Rs: 3500/- for Post of Professor, as Research Publications Evaluation Fee is to be submitted along with application.
5. Age relaxation of 10 years shall be admissible for the employees of Govt: Semi Govt: or autonomous bodies on the basis of actual service rendered in the respective bodies.
6. Selection shall be made in the manner prescribed by the University. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
7. No TA/DA is admissible.
8. Separate application for each post / institute and for BPS and TTS (Tenure Track System) is to be submitted.
9. Incomplete application(s) / received after due date, shall not be entertained.
10. Both genders can apply except for Class-IV.
